Fifty years behind the counter, and still going
Eccles Coins and Banknotes has been owned and run by Peter Eccles and his late wife for more than 50 years, making him one of the longest serving coin and banknote dealers in the world. In that time he has helped generations of collectors, from first time buyers picking out a birth year coin to seasoned numismatists filling the last gap in a set. The shop has recently settled into its home in Royal Oak, with the same hands on approach Peter has brought to the business from the start.
We believe collecting should feel welcoming, not intimidating. Whether you are here to browse, sell, or just ask a question about something you found in a drawer, take your time.
